Leanne Gotvaslee, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Born and raised in Bismarck, ND, Leanne graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2008. After graduation she moved back to Bismarck and worked as a Team Lead therapist at the Baptist Health Care Center, providing long term care and rehab services for 10 years. During that time she provided treatment for all ages, with a focus on rehab following hospitalization.
She developed a passion for geriatric physical therapy and loves helping older patients feel better, move better, and maintain independence in their lives. In 2018, Leanne moved to Granville, ND with her family and has been providing physical therapy in the Minot area since. In addition to traditional physical therapy services, Leanne obtained certification as a Lymphedema Therapist in 2019 and has been treating patients with a variety of acute and chronic swelling conditions. Whether caused by an injury, surgery, or a hereditary condition, she has been able to help reduce and manage edema and pain for a variety of patients. Some of the patients who benefit from lymphedema treatment include those with venous insufficiency, lipedema, and following cancer treatments; especially women after breast cancer. Orthopedic patients who do not progress as expected with edema reduction, following surgery or injury, are also candidates for treatment.
Outside of work, Leanne enjoys time spent with family and friends, and any time spent outdoors. She has three children (Reagan, Kallen, and Joren) and stays busy "raising kids and cows", with her husband Kerry, on their ranch west of Granville.
